Created in 2021 as part of my Film & TV Level 3 college course, this screen-based narrative short film was fully animated and edited by me. Told entirely through a character’s computer interface, the film follows a young female footballer as she logs into her desktop at different stages of her journey, from being unsupported and unsuccessful to becoming confident, celebrated and successful.

The edit explores themes of girlhood, resilience, and self-belief, while challenging gender stereotypes within sport. By presenting the story through a digital screen, the film offers an intimate insight into the character’s growth and highlights the message that girls can be strong, capable and achieve anything, no matter the obstacles they face.
